Guests of attendees are a special part of the PCIC Conferences. The Local Committee takes great care to help make their time at the Conference as pleasant and entertaining as possible by offering a variety of off-site activities while attendees participate in the daily sessions.
Who is a guest? A guest is a spouse/significant other, friend, or child that is not involved in an electrical industry related occupation. Authors, co-workers, or associates that are involved in any related industries may not be registered as a guest. Guests must be registered for the Conference to attend the Monday Social and to participate in guest-designated functions, such as the Guest Hospitality Suite, tours, vendor hospitality events, etc. Guests are not allowed to attend paper presentations, attendee luncheons, or special meal functions (eg Authors, YEDS, or Emeritus meals). Tickets for attendee luncheons are available for guests to purchase if they chose to do so.
Guest Tours are offered by the Local Committee on Saturday, September 22, and Monday through Wednesday, September 24-26. The tours allow the guest to experience local areas of interest. See below for tour details and pricing. Tour tickets are non-refundable, but may be exchanged or sold between guests. Exchange information will be made available in the Guest Hospitality Suite.
Did you know that Kentucky is located directly across the Ohio River and is home to the famous Bourbon Trail? Whether you enjoy the taste of this fine whiskey or you are more interested in the history and beautiful scenery KY has to offer, you will want to experience a day in the Bluegrass State. 8.5 hour tour includes transportation (2 hours each way) and admission to 4 major distilleries located in different cities on the Bourbon Trail. The distilleries included on the tour are: Four Roses, Wild Turkey, Woodford Reserve and Buffalo Trace.

Take a breathtaking lunch cruise along the beautiful Ohio River on a classic riverboat. Enjoy an amazing lunch while taking in the views of the city skylines. You are taking part in one of the city's oldest traditions, so enjoy and don't forget a camera! This 4 hour tour includes transportation, admission and lunch.
Tour 10 ~ Cincinnati Museum Hop Around *CANCELLED*
Learn about Cincinnati's hidden history on one of the Top Five Underground Tours in the U.S. Enjoy a walk through Over-the-Rhine, home to America's largest set of historical landmarks. Visit buildings in the Gateway District that were home to 150 saloons, bars, beer gardens, and theaters that hosted the iconic Buffalo Bill Cody. During the second half of the tour, you will descend below the city streets to a hidden crypt where some of the city's first residents where buried. You will then explore the newly discovered tunnels underneath the city that were vital to Cincinnati's brewery heritage. End the tour at Christian Moerlein bottling plant and tap room. 2 hr tour includes admission fee and transportation.
Are you interested in taking your cooking skills to the next level, or interested in learning how to make a German inspired meal? This private interactive group cooking class will take place at Findlay Market in the Over-the-Rhine neighborhood in Cincinnati. Attendees will be divided into teams to make a specific course on the menu. The cooking stations will consist of beer and cheddar soup, classic schnitzel, bratwurst with apples, onions and sauerkraut, German potato salad, sweet and sour braised cabbage, and black forest cake. When the cooking is finished, everyone will sit and enjoy the meal together for lunch. 3 hour tour includes admission, lunch and transportation.
